Adventure into the intense, dreamy and colorful world of Space Invaders. Don’t worry the invaders are friendly and only want pets and food, so you better bring some along the way. Space Invaders returns to the somewhat more familiar sound of Retro Raccoon, similar to that of Peanut Butter Jam (2019) but more sci-fi injected and space themed. This album is like a long overdue science project that was forgotten or lost in a garage used for storage. Amongst its darker theme it still has a playful and relaxing side. As you listen you will be greeted with heavy rich synth layers mixed with warm pads and rusted industrial beats and interesting effect explorations. I have been working on many other projects but it’s nice to return home and release some original flavours, for hungry electronic ears. So grab a pizza, sushi a beer or whatever you humans enjoy these days and buckle up on this thrilling space voyage, with some friendly raccoons along the way.
